Leg Pull

i'm a 15 year old soccer player and this season i've pulled both of my upper quadriceps like seven times. I have more of a stocky build and I have a lot of leg muscle. I might even lift and workout too often. I think i'm pulling or straining my sartorius, but i could be wrong. I stretch a lot and drink a lot of water all the time, and I also try to take at least two ice baths a week; however, nothing seems to work (not even R.I.C.E.). any advice on my diet, techniques, etc.?

I'm not a physiotherapist but I'd say this is your "achillies heel". Once you injure yourself, it will remain as a weak spot and will always be more vugnrable to becomming injured again.

This isn't really going to help your current injury but once you are aware that this is something which could become injured again much more easily then any other part of your leg, your able to try to work around it a bit more, prepare for any future injury and protect it a bit more when you do need to use it.

I'd guess there are things you can do- but would imagine its all bit by bit and small steps. Repairing the muscle properly will take a long time and plenty of patience. I had a type of tendonitis on my lower calve, it still can "break" into pain whilst I run if I do more then 11 mins running. 3 months ago it was 6 mins. It does get better but takes its time. Plenty of rest and massage and if you need to work out, using other muscles to do so whilst the injured muscle rests.
