I've decided it's time to change and this message board will keep me accountable, knowledgeable, and motivated.
Here are the activities I completed today and the estimated calories per FitDay:
6 mile walk, 666 calories
15 minute resistance band workout, unknown
Here are the foods I ate:
2 Eggs scrambled, 137 Calories
2 Bacon, 87
1/2 Bread toasted, 40
1/2 Tbsp Butter, 51
Apple raw, 72
2 cups Lasagna with meat, 816
Total: 1,202
FitDay estimates I burned 3,511 today all things considered beside the resistance bands, which comes to 2,309 burned after what I ate.

Now I will answer some of the suggested questions:
How much weight do you want to lose?
69 lbs from my starting weight of 249lbs, which was on 10/4.
What is the timeframe for reaching your target weight?
June 6, 2010
How do you want to accomplish your goal (what methods do you want to use)?
I've completely eliminated sugars out of my diet, I'm eating 1,200-1,800 calories per day, and I'm walking a minimum of 4 miles a day. Some days I do as many as 9 miles, but never less than 4.
How realistic is your goal?
I don't know how realistic the goal is, but if I shoot for much less, I'll probably accomplish nothing. I have not been 180lbs since 8th grade (14 years old), which is a long time ago for a 27 year old. I have broad shoulders, so 180 may be impossible, but I'm aiming high (or low, lol) in order to reach my potential. I was around 195 in college and thought then I could lose another 20lbs.
What is your current height and weight?
6'2" 239lbs.
If you were at an ideal weight now, what would that weight be?
Probably somewhere between 165-185lbs. I'm really not sure because I've been overweight for so long.
At what weight would you like to be at four months from now?
Around 210.
Why do you want to lose weight?
1. My health
2. Women
3. Other folks opinions
What obstacles could get between you and your weight loss goals?
Stress, motivation, food temptations, weather (I walk outside), and frustration.
Why do you think that you now have a weight problem?
I'm overweight according to any health scale. I have a fat gut. I sweat a lot.
Have you lost weight in the past? If so, what has worked in the past to help you lose weight?
I lost about 65lbs when I was 18, but it was unhealthy. I was taking pills called Xenadrine, when it had a now apparently banned substance in it. Yeah, it worked, for maybe a year. I slowly gained it back.
Why do you believe that you did not lose weight or you gained the weight back?
I gained it all back because of lack of exercise and fast food diet.
What, if anything, has not worked for you in the past in helping you to lose weight? Why do you think it did not work?
I've tried going back to exercising while only consuming under 1,000 calories per day, but that never worked. I ended up binging, which let to frustration for stepping back how ever long, then ending it all together.
Do you cook at home often? If so, what do you cook?
My aunt cooks and brings me food. I cook breakfast.
How often do you go out to eat? Where do you go?
I eat out maybe twice a week. On weekends I'll go to a local restaurant with friends. I work from home 3 out of 5 days a week, and will go out for lunch with the fellas in the office once a week to usually a chain like O'Charley's or Chillis.
What are three things you can do differently when it comes to food?
Beyond cutting calories, which I've already started, I need to cut the fat and eat more vegetables.
If you woke up tomorrow and your body was exactly the way you want it, what would be different?
I don't know, I'd have a six-pack and 3 ladies in bed with me?
Do you eat when you are not hungry?
Yes, I have a big problem with this, but I've been checking myself on it very well since I've started. I now ask myself "are you hungry" before I eat.
Do you binge eat (large amounts at a time)?
Not unless I cut calories, as I said in the aforementioned response.
Do you eat when you are sad, nervous, or depressed?
Oh yeah.
Do you eat as a reward?
I never thought of that until now, but yeah, embarrassingly I've rewarded myself with food. Mainly it's about accomplishing something at work; I'd motivate myself my saying something like, "if you successfully get this done, you can go to Popeye's and get a number 7."
Do you eat while watching TV or using the computer?
Yes, I watch TV while eating.
What do you normally eat for a meal?
Eggs, bacon, biscuit, toast, or pancakes for breakfast plus whatever my aunt brings me for dinner.
What type of snacks do you eat?
Now: apples and celery. Then: a combo meal from Wendy's.
In terms of exercise, what, if anything, are you currently doing?
I walk 4-9 miles day and use resistance bands for my back, shoulders, triceps, biceps, chest, and do sidebends.
Where do you go for exercise? A local public gym? School/work gym? Home?
Walk around my neighborhood and up a main road.
What, if anything, are your three favorite types of exercise?
Walking, hiking, resistance bands.
What is your daily/weekly/monthly/yearly motivation to move towards your goals?
My motivation I guess is the upcoming final product of my work.
Do you have rewards for certain goals?
Lol, no, should I? Like a trip to Hooters for wings and 3 pitcher of beer?
