Last Hurdle

ALast October I peaked at 16 stone 5 lbs. Never realised what an issue this was till I got a new job being on my feet all day and without trying dropped almost two stone.

Made it my mission to get to where my weight should be and can confirm that today, 12 months on, I weigh in at 11 stone 7 lbs, I'm 5 ft 7 BTW.

Anyway also working at getting in shape, have taken to crunches and have what could described at best as a four pack. Between by ribs and stomach my abs are fine and pretty well defined. I do however still have a bit of a belly that whilst feeling pretty firm underneath still needs work, any advice on specific things I can do to resolve this issue?

Hey

First of all congratulations.

All I can say is keep on going... fat around the belly is always the last place to go.

I'm not sure what your body fat is but men can usually see there upper abs at 10% and lower abs at 8% so probably got just a few more pounds to go.

Keep me posted.

Welcome to the forum, and congratz on the two stone. Remember to don't give up and, yes, the stomach is always the last place to go. Good luck!

Hey and welcome to the forum! In order to see muscle definition, you'll need to keep reducing your body fat % through managing your calorie intake and doing cardio and strength training on a regular basis. You are likely at the point where you don't necessarily need to lose weight, but focus on changing your body composition. Maintain or build muscle mass, decrease your body fat % a bit further, and you will eventually get there!
