laser hair removal

well let's start this off with, im hair phobic lol... seriously tho i dont like hair, so currently i shave which is a pain. and i was wondering if anyone has heard anything, or done it, on the laser hair removal, like prices/effectivness.. stuff like that.. thanx!

I think waxing is actually a better alternative to laser removal, this is coming from my mom and I've found waxing (yes, I wax...no laughing) to be a clean and long lasting, not ot mention cheap alternative to shaving.

However, just shave the underarms...take that from personal experience.

Dude, Ive seen my wife wax her legs, no laughing, much much respect, that stuff looks like it hurts.

evo.. do you have a particular brand or something, i would rather use somthing that i know works well.. and if you could gimme step by step what you do.. bcuz im tired of shaving..

If you have the money, and hate the hair, I say go for the laser removal!!

You can check out this site for some great information:

wow thanx for the link.. but after reading some of those stories, im deff going with the wax...

I too HATE hair. If you're tired of shaving, I suggest Nair. I usually shave but when I have a few extra minutes, I use Nair. It works good for the arms I know. Never tried it on my legs. Don't care bout hair on them but I don't see why it wouldn't work. And it stays away longer than shaving. Only problem I had was when I did my chest, it burnt the hell out of my nipples. I don't do my chest anymore, nor my armpits. Definetly just shave your armpits!!!

Aevans, I don't wax my legs...that's a lot of bodypart to rip hair out of. I do back, chest, and stomach. It started when I started shaving the underarms and I thought this feels so good I think...(okay, to much info) ;)

My wife finally fessed up that she hates underarm hair on guys and so it raised my cool points.

I hate creams like nair because they leave me splotchy and looking like I have a horrible skin rash or disease. :p

I'll look and see what brand I have and post up my steps. Usually you can get it done by some pretty fast and it's not really that expensive. If my wife didn't do it, I'd have to find someone else...because I sure as hell aint waxin myself...that stuff hurts! :D

I have a friend and she is an instructor at Gene Juarez but I have her wax me from my waist to my shoulders front and back and eye brows and it doesnt really hurt if there is a lot of hair it hurts and certain times but for the most part she is good at it so it doesnt hurt. I hate nair used it before and it just sucks lol

You boys are weird. Hair on men is natural and just fine.

Ha Ha I am a pretty boy and probably spend more time than you gettin ready for my nights (my gf hates it cause I take almost as long as her) and I hate havin hair on my back and stuff

you can use a depilatory. doesn't hurt at all, like waxing does! much cheaper than laser. laser isn't foreber, you know..........you have to go back for follow-ups......

I've used a couple of kinds and I really like the complete kit you get from Beautyco. I think it cost me like, oh around...$40-50 and came with everything I needed.

I don't keep up with my chest a lot, mainly use an electric razor to keep the hair short, but the back and stomach hair has to go. And like I said, I only use a razor for the underarms.

im still with spock, why shave your a man...
