lagging arm

What would you do to help balance one side of your body out? My left arm is smaller than my right arm. I would like them to be more symetrical.

If I have an imbalance I try and concentrate on doing more unilateral work (single limb) so instead of benching do dumbbell presses for example. You can also do single leg deads, squats tricep extensions etc.. basically any kind of lift can be adapted so you use each limb independently until the imbalance has been worked out. For my hamstrings I would do 12 reps on my right and 10 on the left for a while to try and bring my right up to speed

Using dumbbells helped me a lot. At first, when doing an exercise like dumbbell bench, my right arm would fire the dumbbell up without much problem while my left was lagging behind. After about two weeks, the imbalance worked itself out. I did the same weight and number of sets/reps with each arm and just tried my hardest to raise both sides at the same pace. Again, it did not take long at all to fix.

so for my arm, should i throw in a few extra sets of dumbell curls or tricept extensions. Or would that olead to overtrainig the one arm? Should i do less sets on my strong arm for a while?

You could just try using the same weight in both arms for identical sets and reps. The strong arm with find it easy and not grow much but the weaker arm with be forced to catch up
