Hey, I need some help also. I'm on a weight loss treck again. I want to shed 15, and gain tons of muscle, mainly in my butt and abs. (summer season)
I'm drinking oolong tea( it helps) I eat very well, mostly protien, and dairy, and crystal light and of course that tea.. and I do pilates for a hour everyday in a hotter room..
So far i feel alot better.. but i need to be slimmer by the middle of june.. do you think there is a possibility that i have that chance?
I weigh 141, Height is 5"7.5..

Let me know if there's any different solutions.
I do windsor pilates right now, and although it might not help loose the fat, it will help tone and my eating habbits will make me lose the weight----right?????

Right here, you are already shooting yourself in the foot. Pick a goal and stick with it. If fat loss is you goal, great. If muscle gain is your goal, great. If both are you goals at the same time, not so great.

You see, in very simple terms, you need a calorie deficit to lose fat and you need a calorie surplus to build muscle. Doing both simultaneasly is futile in most instances.

Define helps.

If anyone is going to hand you complete, sound advice, they are going to have to hear more than generally how you eat. How many calories? How much protein? How much good fats?

Dairy, in general is high in bad fat. I don't know how much you are eating, but when you say "mostly," that tends to throw up a red flag.

What about fruits and veggies?

And I am sure you are low in EFAs.

Protein, you should be getting approximately 1 gram per pound of body weight, depending on what you currently weigh.

Losing weight is all about energy balance. You obviously need to create an energy deficit in order to lose weight. This deficit can come either from a reduction in food intake, an increase in exercise, or a combination of the two.

As far as I know, not many calories are burned doing pilates. And the hotter room has very little impact on total weight loss. Sweat does not equal more progress.

Glad you feel better! I am not trying to trash what you are doing, but I think there are certainly things you can improve on. You can lose inches in a month, but probably not as many as you'd like. Why does it have to be by June.

You seem to be missing the basic concepts of exercise in your program.... those being cardio and weight training.

What is "toning" in your mind?

Getting that "ripped" look is not a function of anything except fat loss. Fat loss, again, is initiated by an energy deficit. It's that simple.
