Hello!
I work the night shift. Always the night shift on weekdays and days off on weekends. As part of my (yearly) new year's resolution, I started going to gym and I got the 6-months membership plan. Since then I've only been able to go once a week, sometimes less. I've been told by the gym instructor who gave me my program that in case I'm not able to have 6 hours of sleep at least, it would be better for me to just sleep it off.. or something like that.
The problem is, it rarely happens that I'm able to get those 6 hours (straight) of sleep. Is it really not safe to go to the gym if I don't get those 6 hours?
I need advice on how I could fit in a good exercise schedule. I've set my exercise schedule to be after work, which would be in the morning. This way I could avoid traffic of going to work and there would be less people working out in the gym. But I've also noticed that after my workout, I'm having difficulty sleeping.
Thanks in advance!
