Kyahh! This be bugging me! (eat before or after?!?)

Harro once more, man I wish I had more time to post here.
Ok I've googled and searched but I always come up with stories of people who workout before they eat in the MORNING.

Well thats fine and Dandy, but I workout in the late morning early after noon (say 11 - 12) though, should I ...

Eat light (banana or yogurt or something) then workout?
Eat and workout? (not directly after of course XD)
Workout and Eat.

Oh for your information I am currently doing cardio x3 a week (T-Th-S-) and weight training (M-W-F)
so I am looking to burn fat while keeping muscle :D

I don't like suggesting anyone exercise on an empty stomach, regardless of exercise modality.

I like eating an hour before training, and then depending on the training modality I'll eat immediately after or at my next scheduled time.

In the case of weight training, I'll have a balanced meal an hour or so before, I'll drink a during and post-workout shake as an immediate meal, and then eat a whole meal an hour after the bout.

In the case of cardio, I'll have a balanced meal an hour or so before, then I'll eat a balanced meal at my next scheduled time afterwords.
