OK, so here goes my first step forward.
I saw some photos of myself today and decided I really need to be proactive in weight-loss. Nothing like seeing yourself in cycling gear (which leaves nothing to the imagination) to get things kickstarted!

My goals? I currently weigh 175lbs and am only 5'5". I'd like to feel better about myself, increase my energy levels, fit back into my stylish clothes and create a healthier outlook towards food. Weight loss goal - 25 pounds in 6 months.

I have been blaming my weight gain on my pregnancy - but my son is now 18 months so I really shouldn't be using this excuse anymore. My husband can eat what he likes. If he doesn't eat at least 3,000 calories a day he loses weight (grr).

Yesterday I actually thought about wearing my maternity pants again. No one would know, right? ;-)

Looks like a really supportive forum. I look forward to all of our successes and supporting you in your goals.
