Knuckle Injury

This is a really stupid way to hurt yourself, but i guess i managed to do it. Basically I was practicing handstands off the wall of my house in the backyard and i was doing good, so i decided id do it in my small room. The idiot that I was, i succeeded in doing the handstand, but when i came back down my foot slammed into a leather chair in my room, and it hurt. I got pissed that my foot was hurting, and not realizing that the back of my leather chair has a nice thick layer of metal supporting it, i punched it as hard as i could. Long story short, my right middle knuckle seared in pain for a good 20 minutes and i couldnt do anything with it for a couple days.. that was over a month ago. My right middle knuckle however is still a little bit bigger and swollen as compared to my left middle knuckle, and i cant really use the punching bag anymore cuz i cant punch with my right hand without having the middle knuckle hurt evrytime i punch something. Should i see a doc for this or will it eventually go away?

LOL close to what happened to me about a year ago. only i allowed a forward to pass me and score on the goal (which i could had stopped) i got pissed and hit the iron Goal ;). Well long story short my middle knuckle is perma enlarged ;). I never got it checked i knew i broke it because i could feel a small piece move around in there. So now its just slightly enlarged compared to the others. But i couldn't leave in the middle of the game so i just ignored it. Then kept ignoring it because its not the first bone iv broken and ignored.

if its been a month i highly doubt theres anything that can be done. Like mine, your bone has likely already healed.

Ok i dont really mind the bigger size of the knuckle, but i dont want to still have pain in the knuckle..... i guess ill see a doctor and get some xrays. i dont think i broke it because there werent any pieces i could move around as u stated, so hopefully its not broken.

Its still possible you broke it only it could just be a tiny hair line fracture. But yes you want to get it checked out if it is still hurting after all this time.
