Knee stabilising exercises

Hi,

I have recently had some physio on a knee problem I have been having and the result seems to be that I have a stretched ACL which isn't supporting my knee properly when I try to sprint and resulting in sharp pain.

I have done the exercises she suggested with the rubber bands, and they helped but only to a limited extent. I think I need some more weights based exercises to really target and strengthen the knee stabilising muscles.

Any suggestions/advice?

Any help would be much appreciated.
 
I agree with Karky - get advise from your orthopedist or a physical therapist - not from folks on this forum who have no knowledge of your condition.
