Knee Problem

Hi, I'm new wanted to ask question.

I'm not sure if it's runner's knee, everything I've seen about runner's knee talks about a pain between the kneecap and thigh bone.

The pain I have happens to be immediately below the kneecap, if it's below at all, I'm not sure it's not part of the knee cap.

Anyways, I dont know how to treat it. I'm trying to lose weight and stay fit, but when I try and run I have this pain return. Everything I've looked up says try to lose weight or strengthen the thigh muscles, both of which cause my knee to hurt more.

So what's the solution, and does anyone know what problem I am having?

There are so many different problems associated with the kneecap that it's impossible to make a suggestion as to what it is online, especially with symptoms such as your's, which are very generalized. You really need to see a professional about the issue in person.

There are number of reasons of knee pain. Whatever the others basically we feel knee pain because of two reasons:

1. Over working and

2. Over exercising.

All you need to do is to consult with an orthopedic surgeon or a rheumatologist. They may recommend treatment of knee pain with medication, physical therapy or steroid injections. But sometimes it may need surgery to correct the problem.
