Kinesiology Degree

I want to get a degree in kinesiology down the road and right now I'm trying to figure out what I would do with that basically. I want to basically be a super personal trainer so to speak. I would like to eventaully become in expert in nutrition and exercise conditioning. What would that look like on paper or in otherwords what would my concentration for a degree be? exercise scientist, sports scientist? Thanks in advance Oh and by the way which company would best suit my needs in getting a personal training certification?

Hey KJ - great job jumping into training -and it looks to me like you're going about it the right way -

If you're looking for some experience even before you get your degree, then yes by all means go ahead and get a certification -

But your degree is obviously the higher qualification and will dwarf the info in your cert -

Were you planning to start working as a trainer even before you get your degree?

yeah that was the plan. I figured I would even work as a trainer while I'm going to school to get my degree.

Where are you planning on going? I went to UMass Amherst for Kin and I thought the professors were terrific. Also, it's a fun school to experieence.

You can do exercise science and minor, or double major, in nutrition. That would get you up that 'super' level.
