Ok so I have this flab of fat that kinda sags on my front... a saggy tummy?

I had a c-section with my daughter and they cut under that fold.. well... I think I might have some yeasty growth there.. Its def not as bad as it sounds but it's itchy and uncomfortable. I've never had anything like this before and I wonder if it didn't start way back almost 2 years ago when my c-section wound was healing.. it was moist there was an open wound. I was on antibiotics.. I just don't know.

My obgyn did mention first 2 years ago and then again this year that I have a yeast infection but she didn't really mention what to do.

There's nothing really dramatic..just some reddness and itching and a mild smell..

This is soooo embararssing... It's really not that gross I don't even think my husband knows and he sees me naked regularly.

I tried putting on some vaginal yeast infection cream on there.. well first time today and it seem to have made it worst.. but the cream is likely expired and it said it's just for itching. I put baby powder on it daily. WHAT DO I DO?? Do I just buy the monistat or something? I've never even had a yeast infection.. I thought I did once when I was pregnant ..that's how I ended up with that cream, but it ended up not being anything.

Please noone make fun of me! :) I only am asking because yall don't know me! :)

ok I googled skin yeast infections pictures and it looks nothing like that.

There's no rash, only reddness when I scratch it. There's no white stuff or white spots.

Its just a little sweaty moist (?), a little smell and itchy

It's nothing to be embarrased about. Our bodies go through many changes and all sorts of events throughout our lifetime and it's just proves we're using it as it was intended!

Even without the white spots it can still be a yeast infection.

Yeast infections are very common but very difficult to clear up. The most common form is vaginal but it can appear on the skin and in the gut.

There is a theory that diet can greatly improve yeast infections. They say that you should avoid yeast based foods and dairy as this promotes the growth. They also suggest you can apply all natural yoghurt to the affected area as this will balance the bacterias. And exposing the area to sun and heat can help dry it out.

You could try the diet changes and, if you don't live in a warm climate, expose the area on a sun bed.

I would also suggest that you press your doctor for more clear advice and possibly additional medical support to help resolve the problem. It's an unpleasant thing to have to live with and your doctor should be able to offer you more help.
