Hey guys,
I was on here a long time ago with limited success. I dropped maybe 10 lbs but then I went back to normal eating/exercising patterns and that was that...
Anyways...Just a little about myself:
- I used to be 220 lbs at my heaviest. This was when I was 21. I worked off 20-30 lbs doing stationary biking (my favorite cardio).
- I am 29 now and at 190 lbs. My big 3-0 birthday is in August so I want to look good for that!
- I have not been under 180 lbs since...forever. My goal is to see the 179.x by March 23rd, 2013 before I go on a week trip to houston to watch Jeremy Lin!
- I injured my foot 4 years ago, and I wasn't able to walk for 4 months. It took me over a year to get back to my normal activity.
- I love badminton.
What I have started since the start of 2013:
- I play badminton 2x a week. 2 hours. I am looking to add a 3rd session in as it is great exercise and I love it. I look forward to badminton everyday!!!!
- From feb 18, I started waking up early to do ~30-1 hour of cardio on a stationary bike before work. Monday to Fridays. It feels fantastic. I started burning 300 calories a morning. I have been raising the resistance and have been burning ~500 a morning. I even burned 650 cals on monday! My HR is usually between 135-160 during these sessions. I sweat like a pig and feel great.
- I am eating well. I have a degree in food, nutrition and health. I think everyone knows how to BE healthy - it is just the willpower to actually burn those calories and eat healthy. I have been eating a big healthy breakfast - vector cereal + almond milk (35 cals/serving), yogurt w/ sweetener (35/cals/serving), and some fruit/nuts. I am really hungry after my morning workout. I find I eat a lot less throughout the day when I eat well in the morning.
- I am trying not to eat after 6pm.
Short-Term GOAL - March 23rd - Under 180 lbs.
Long term GOAL - To look fit. The number matters less to me, but I want to see improvements in my body. I have always been fat. I hate my moobs. I want to look and feel great when I turn 30.
Feb 18 - 194.5 lbs
