Kebabs ?

Please help im not really sure if kebabs are healthly or not so please can someone tell me some of its nutritional stuff. Im talking about plain old bbq kebabs.

greasy as hell, let one go cold overnight and look at it in the morning, all that white slippery stuff my friend is lard, fat, whatever u wanna call it

Depends if you're talking beef, venison, lamb, bison, antelope, elk, etc. Bison is much leaner than beef, give it a shot.

hey - i replied in the other forum you posted this in - didn't realise you'd moved it....nutritionally you'd need to calculate yourself, eg one breast= xcals etc...and dd it together....

see below...

Putting aside the carcenogenic qualities of bbq'd food (full of cancer causing free radicals - so maybe only a few times a year huh?) the following might be pretty healthy....

plenty of skinless chicken, cut into chunks.
fresh bell peppers
onions, cut into slices.
whole cherry toms(fabulous when warm as they explode in your mouth!)
whole button mushrooms

alternate on a skewer. you might want to try a honey and mustard dressing /heavy on the mustard as it will be the flavour.

or you could try saucing it with tabsco, lime juice, lemon juice....the list is endless, as long as it's not a sticky, sweet sauce you should be fairly safe.

shred some iceberg lettuce, warm some wholemeal pittas and that sounds like a pretty fabby, healthy balanced meal.
