Healthy & Happy Diary
Hi, So yesterday I started my "new" diet!! AGAIN!!! I found this forum and hope it helps. I do have a lot of motivation right now so that should aslo hlep.
I have been gradually putting on the weight for the last 6 years. Found out I had Thyroid problems but the medication doesn't help. I do exercie a fair amount and I enjoy it so that is not an issue. BUT truthfully, I love food. Esp. rich food. I have a hard time having "just one"!
Currently I am 53 and weigh in at 192. I have NEVER seen THAT number before and all my clothes, even my BIG clothes don't fit. I am hoping to get to 143 pounds, so I have a 50# loss to deal with here. My program is...........eat less, move more. I am going to try for 1200 cals/daily and to exercise at least 5 days a week. Add to that, 3 times a week with weights. I usually only do upper body but I think I may add some leg work. Currently I am doing a lot of biking, rollarblading, kayaking and walking. I like them all. When the snow flys, I will be cross country sking almost daily. You would think with all this exercising I'd be really fit and I quess I do have good health but I am tired a lot and I think it's the extra weight and the thyroid. So this is my first post. Will be posting as much as possible.

I am way into the tickers. It appeals to me for some reason I can't quite fathom. Of course, my favorite thing to do is change the humbers. Ha Ha,,,,,,,,,,,Have a great, STRONG day everyone.

The key is getting back to healthy eating and keep on trying.
