That's a good start, Kaleb. Welcome to the diary section of the forum :)
What do you currently eat and drink that you think you will cut down on?

One further question I did not ask in your other thread, are you lifting under the direction of a lifting coach or just an American football coach ? While your lifts are fair, correct form is absolutely essential to prevent long term injury issues and american football coaches for your age group have a bad reputation for coaching poor form.

Hey Kaleb,
I don’t really know where to start with this.
You found the right place and way to start!

Trusylver asks a good question about weight lifting, I can tell you from my own experience there is a wrong way to do it. When I was your age I started lifting weights with the football coach, my primary objective was to lift as much as I could. I got my bench press to somewhere over 200, its a long time ago I don't clearly remember how much, probably less than your 245. Then one day when trying for a new high I did some damage to a muscle, my left pec I think. I had to have the weights lifted off by others, it was quite painful. I did not tell anyone or get treatment, but it ended my weight lifting. The damage was permanent, I can still feel the pain once in a while, 50 years later. If I had done my lifting with better guidance I am sure it would have gone better.

Football Coach. I do get worried at moments due to it. I feel as if they are pretty correct though. We went through 2 weeks of form and posture, as well as it is preached to us and corrected on the spot, ie. squats, head up ass down, cleans low squat not a lot of bend. deadlifts strait up, don’t strain back, lift with legs.

Sounds like your football coach has no real idea how to cue a correct lift. these types of commands do little to to induce correct form. As an example "lift with your legs" does not point you to a specific action where as depending on your problems a cue like "drive through your heels" makes you think about your foot contact with the floor and generating force through that contact using the correct part of the foot producing stability and leg drive.
