:waving: Hi all! The name is actually Ky, I'm 18, and between the height of 5'5" and 5'6". I weigh 191 as of today. :ack2:

A bit of history about myself, I wasn't always a big child, not even a chubby child. When I hit my teens however I quit sports and ate out more. Last year when I was 17 I stepped on the scare and I was like woah! 224 pounds! AH!

So I spent a while eating right and exercising and hello 190s. Now I'm 18 and still stuck in the 190s. I want out. :blush5:

I know my problems are I eat too much and don't exercise enough. I tend to eat when bored, sad, happy, and..just too much! And ugh I do like veggies and fruits, but its like I just automatically reach for the junk. I'm working on it now!

At the end of June is my friends grad and I want to be at least 160 by then. I know I can do it. :biggrinjester:

btw: I did eat fruits and veggies today. Sadly I didn't eat breakfast and I had too slices of pizza. :( Nothing to make a complete big deal out of just have to do better tomorrow. :D

Another btw: At 224 I was a size 18. Now I'm between a size 16-14 Depending on the jeans. I current bought a size 15s thinking they would fit. Blah barely. x_x Odd because I have the exact same size jean in a different color and it fits perfectly! Oh well looks like that is my first goal jeans to fit into.

Sidenote: I did yoga today! w00t! And I managed to balance on my hands! I haven't done that in a few months. *proud* :D
 
Day 2

I haven't been feeling myself today. Slept a lot. Had a snow day. D: I did however not go overboard on food. Proudness. :D Only area that went a bit wrong was the popcorn I ate after dinner. BUT! It was a mini bag. Normally i would have a large bag...or two.:blush5:

I did yoga tonight! I was suppose to play volleyball today in gym. Looks like I'll have to wait till Wednesday to play volleyball. :( All in all. Not a bad day.

Someone ate the cheese doodles that were taunting me. Darn those evil cheese doodles. :reddevil:. I resisted them, and now they aren't here to taunt me anymore. w00t. :biggrinjester:

I have to run to the store tomorrow! :O Im out of veggies and want more fruit. :x

I need to learn how to cook as well... :willy_nilly: <<<< Tis me in a kitchen.
 
Congrats on your weightloss so far, girl!

I was home today too, but sadly I did not have the same succes as you haha WOOOPS! I gave into those cravings but as always, tomorrow is a new day :) And I'm a pretty terrible cook, but I bake well! Unfortunately...

Keep up the good work! You will definitely reach your goal.
 
Hey you doing good! I am not as balance on my hands as I use to be, but enjoy yoga or just trying..lol
 
lol I do enjoy it! But I sadly have not been doing it lately. I fell off the wagon for like 2 days. Oh well I'm back on! And I have to keep a food journal in my health class.

I weighed into not a gain but a loss. :) 190.8. Now right around this point is where I start to have trouble. I usually fall off the wagon. But I'm not going to do that this time! I gotta keep going. And get down to 185. 6 more pounds. I can do this. :D
 
First off, I like your name :p :) and going from 224 to the 190s is so great! I can sort of relate to the whole "quiting sports and getting lazy" thing, since up to a year ago, I was getting plenty of exercise with hockey. I can't stress enough how much I love skating, but the competitiveness of it all was just too much for me x___X I hope you get a great dress and love the way you look in it by your grad! For me, there's an upcoming valentines day dance and I want to be able to be happy with myself in a cute dress :)

Exercise has been a part of my life since I was about 20 years old. I used to work out with Denise Austin every morning when she came on TV, but I can't get her now, with the channels I get. She did a lot of yoga. You weighed in with a loss good! Just continue doing the things you did and you will have another loss.

We are so the same - similar starting weight, similar hovering zone and similar goal weight. Keep up the good work and you'll soon be in the 180s.
 
Hey. Just wanted to stop by and say hi! Looks like you're doing great! Yoga isn't my thing, not high energy enough for me, but volleyball is so much fun! The last time I was in the 180s was when I was playing 5-1 volleyball for my varsity hs team and I was the setter. Thats hard. I wish I was still playing that much because all the running around made the weight just fall off!

I know what you mean about eating when bored, sad, happy, ect. I used to do it ALL the time. Thats part of the reason why I got to be 260lbs... I now have found new hobbies to busy myself with when I start getting bored, just to keep me out of the fridge! I would suggest finding a hobby that you really enjoy, and anytime you get that urge to snack, pick up that hobby and get your hands busy.

anyway, keep up the great work!

@ikakedoi's My life was pretty much ruled by basketball, school, and hanging out with friends. I was extremely active. Up until I quit basketball, no clue why I quit. :/ Its not my grad. Its my old friends dance! xD

@AnnaGail. I fell. Jumped back up and kept on running as if I never fell. I know I can do this. It will be hard. But I'll keep on going. :D

@happychubette Your name makes me giggle. xD 170 is just a mini goal for the challenge. I want my final final goal to be 130s or 120s. xD Mini goals are awesome because they aren't that far away! I hope I'll be in the 180s soon. I'll like squeal with glee. ^_^ Soon we'll reach our 170 goal. :D


Soo today was cool. I ate really good sorta. NO JUNK! I promise. Buttt I think I skipped a meal. Not purposely. Time confuses me. I can't sleep well so the days are out of whack for me. Thens its like is it breakfast? Is it lunch? Is it dinner? Did I eat that meal? Is it today or tomorrow? Sadly I have come to the realization my sleep will never be normal. -_- oh poo.

I played my wii fit (Bought it as a christmas present barely used it). I loveee ittt! Wii fit for me = awesome and fun. love it. xD So all in all pretty awesome day being on my way to the 180s. Neat. I wish there wasn't snow on the ground, I'd like to ride my bike at night. Oh well. springgg hurry up and visit mehh in jersehhh. Bai bai now.

For some strange reason i didn't see your post! I'm taking a volleyball class at school! We haven't started yet because of the snow days and holidays. :/

Its hard to find hobbies to keep myself busy. i'm always bored! D: A lot of the time nothing seems exciting enough. Or it will keep me busy for a day or two. Then is like. :waves: hai boredom. If I could find a hobby to keep my hands busy that'd be magical! And thanks :blush5:
 
Hi Kae! I was reading through your diary and saw what you said about cooking. I think cooking is SO important to weight loss. One of my goals is to only eat things that my husband or I cook...preferably myself, he's a better cook but his metabolism is SO high and he can eat things I get fat from just looking at! Looking forward to your next update and I wish you all the best!
