Hi everyone!
Just a quick question that someone more experienced in the fitness world may be able to answer for me. I will tell you my routine, and what I added which leads to my question.
Spin three days one 1 day off. What I changed on my third day I only bike half of my normal routine and then follow up with squats and lunges. Just trying to add alittle more beef to the legs, I love the biker leg look, but nothing wrong in my opinion of making them stronger for different terrain. Which leads to my question. After only starting this routine a week ago, two days with weights my legs are still getting used to the "new strain" and get very sore. Is it bad to bike with sore legs, it hasn't stopped me yet, as in my mind I think it will speed up the process of getting used to the new plan, but I don't want to hurt the process either.Not enough time to heal etc. I do the weight workout on the last day of my 3 day on and take 1 day off. So I do get one day rest before spinning again. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Maybe it would help to do the weights first before my half ride to loosen things up after that tight feeling we all get after a good muscle workout.
