Just wondering how to join a support group!

Hi, I just joined the forum, and I was wonder how to join a group, and which one would be the best for me. I'm a 17 yo female, about 5'6" tall, and I currently weight 125 lbs. I am trying to get back in a healthy routine of diet and exercise. At the beginning of this year, I went totally crazy and was eating anywhere from 300-500 calories a day and exercising 2-3 hours daily(dancing and aerobics for about 2 hours and strength training for 1 hour). In a little over 2 weeks, I had lost 15 lbs and weighed 110 lbs. I was very happy with my body and could still see some room for improvement, but at that point I couldn't stand it any more. I woke up starving every morning, and went to bed hungry every night. So, I went too far the other way and ate any and everything I wanted. Within a few months, I was back up to 130 lbs. Now I am back to 125 lbs, and I'm hoping to eventually be back at 110 lbs., but I want to do this the right way this time, changing my habits and losing the weight slowly. Sorry, this is quite a long post. If anyone can suggest a support group that would be appropriate for me, I would appreciate it. Thanks so much!

do you mean a group on this forum to help encourage you? or a group in the real world that you could go to?

As far as these groups, we change them up every two weeks, and after this friday, you can join in on our next session! =)

your pattern sounds so familiar except i'd usually do like 800 calories a day. it sucks to be hungry all the time! but when you look in the mirror and see all that work paid off, its worth it! of course its the wrong way though and we all know that.

you could probably gett he same results if you break up your day into several small meals with lots of protein. it will take longer, but you wont be so hungry all the time. joi our next 5 pound in 2 week club. :)
