Just started my journey again.

Hello everyone! I'm a 26 year old female and I currently weigh 218 pounds. I was 226 last week at my first monthly weight loss appointment but I have been lucky enough to lose 8 pounds. I am currently on phentermine and Topamax for the next 3 months and would like to know if anyone else is as well.
I have been getting a lot of judgment over it because it's the fast way other but I don't believe it is. I have had a problem with my weight for years and no one knows why because my blood has been coming back just fine. I am hoping to lose at least 40 pounds during this as a kick start but I won't be up set if I don't because I'll just work harder!
Anyways anyone good pointers on diets to try or exercises?
 
Hi there! My starting weight was around 218 - 220 as well. I don't know anything about phentermine or Topamax, I'd have to look them up, but I've been successful for the past few weeks just focusing on my diet and maintaining around 1,400 calories per day with a "treat" day one day a week (this may or may not work for others).
How much weight are you trying to lose per week? Happy to hear that about your blood work! ?
 
Hello! I'm actually trying to lose 100 pounds or more seeing as I'm 5'4 so I should be around the 120-140 range and I have already lost 8 in one week. I was told cutting carbs is the best but I think I'll stick with calories and working out now seeing I can't find how many carbs I should be eatting.
