Last week, I ran 6x 15 mins each about an hour after I woke up (fasted cardio). This week, I have increased it to 20 mins (I aim to increase 5 mins per week until I reach 30 or 35 mins daily @ approx 5mph). Unfortunately, next week, I am away and won't be able to, but I anticipate resuming when I get back. So, that's my morning routine... run, shower, eat (something light, 200-400 cals total for breakfast.)
By the time I'm done with all of that, it's like 2PM. My family has dinner at 4, so that's my main meal of the day. At about 7, I do my weight routine (8x15 biceps, 8x10 triceps, 5x6 benches @ 120lbs. I increase the number of sets by 2, 1 in the case of the benches, each week), and then have one scoop of ON whey protein in a shake immediately after.
In addition, I work on my punching bag a bit when I can. I currently weigh 233lbs and am at ~31% body fat @ 5'11". My goal is 200lbs or until I feel satisfied with how I look (namely, flat stomach and chest!! Gosh, I hate how it currently looks).
Now, my concern is this -- I started at around 242lbs 2 weeks ago. However, after dinner some days, my weight is around 238lbs! How could it be that I gain 5lbs in one meal?!
My first week really saw a lot of improvement scale-wise, whereas this week, it seems to be slowing down...
I would also like to add that I don't really notice any difference in my appearance... which I find to be rather disappointing.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
