Just food..

I'm wondering about times I eat my food. I am 16 so I party constantly, which usually leads me to waking up around noon. I usually eat a bowl of cereal in the morning, but after that I don't have set times to eat. I wouldn't say I actually eat a designated lunch/dinner. I more or less just eat whenever my tummy is rumbling. I try to watch what I eat of course, but I just need to know if it matters that rather than eating 4-6 actual meals, I'm sortof just snacking throughout the day. Also, should I be drinking a protein shake before bed? I'm not sure the best times to actually drink a protein shake. After I workout I try to eat some kind of protein, but when's the best time for a shake? Thanks :D

Although it would be best for you to time your hours and have a good idea of your calories, you can make do with a good estimate. If your goal is fat loss, you can make do with 3 meals a day (I assume you're eating breakfast, lunch, dinner). However, it is not as effective as eating 5 meals a day. But who am I to tell you how to live your life.

I have a link for those 3-mealers:

an amazing body is made in the kitchen, not in the gym.

all the heavy sets of bench press doesn't do a damned thing if you live off frosted flakes and mcdonald's burgers.

and you're 16 and you party constantly? what about school? don't you have a part time job?

priorties...do you wanna party all the time, or do you want to look like a god from Mt. Olympus?

It's summer, so I have no school. I am inbetween jobs, I've already been hired somewhere else. By party all the time I just mean I am always out and about, so it's hard to have designated times for my meals. I do drink, but not often at all, maybe once or twice a month.

you're 16...why the hell do you drink?

Anyway, if you wanna look great, you gotta eat great, and you gotta get 7-8 hours a night of sleep. You want good results from your body, you gotta put in good fuel.

Yea well errr... the 16 drinking that uuh... yea.. let's not worry about that, it's rare anyway :D. So is it bad to drink a protein shake during a workout and then one maybe an hour after with a meal or something?
