Just bought some Dumbells.... And Need Help?

I just bought some dumbells the other day (as the title stats....duh) but anyway i dont really have any idea what im doing apart from the old standard Bicep Curl and a couple of others (dont even know if they are any good). I really want to build up my left arm..as i do everything with my right arm and it is more than twice as strong and much bulkier than the left. Is there any good Dumbell exercises i should be doing as to not only increase my left arm but to also tone my right arm at the same time. Any exercises would be greatly appreaciated as like i said i have no idea what im doing and i dont want to injure myself.
