......and it has gotten SO easy nowadays
I still trip on all of those rediculous calorie calculators. Either those things are all just completely wrong..... Or I really do have the worlds best metabolism. Of course I always said, I was like the one person on the planet who had a great metabolism, but just binged on rediculous amounts of pure garbage for years and years, until I finally became obese, and in terrible health. I'm sure I worked harder (or at least, longer) at that, than I have to get myself pulled back up into good shape.
Anyway, just over 1 year ago, I got down to my lowest weight, of 191 lbs (after an 80 lb loss) ..... but still, at a not so great BF % of about 21%. I've bulked up as high as 216, and cut back down to 202, 3 X's, in the last year.
But anyway, here's the part I'm totally proud of........
At 199 (the end of this cut) my BF % will be very close to 12%
Whooo Hooo !
So, from 272, aprox 45% BF
To 191, 21% BF a year later
To 199, 12% BF a year later
I think I have done really well so far. But I have SOOO far to go. My 3 year goal (by the time I turn 50) is to weigh 225 at 9% BF. Very steep, I know, but what the hey, as long as I give it my all, then if I only get to 215, at 9%, so be it. That still wouldn't be too bad, for an old guy who was killing himself with obesity, and the lack of exercise, 5 years earlier, right ?

Now, for normal, balanced people...... I dunno'. You will have to talk to other normal, mentally balanced people about that
