Jumping for Cardio

OK.. So my fitness coach wants me to jump rope.

I haven't jumped rope since I was a kid which feels like 307.2 yrs ago..lol

Anyway, since I'm a novice, POINTERS are being solicited :)

Tell me what you like, what you don't like; how to determine how long your rope should be, technique, etc..

stand on rope with both feet together, and it should extend up to your shoulders.

Do nto get a weighted rope.

p.s. they have a selection at your gym, I've seen them.

Thank you... however... not all gyms are created equal even though they share a name..LOL

My only advice would be to stretch your calves. Active stretching. I always jump rope after a run or sprint and it's much easier if your calves are warmed up and stretched. Have fun!
