jumpers knee

patellar tendonitis or jumpers knee

i feel pain below the patella. it is also known as jumpers knee and happenes when i'm cruching on one leg with the heel in the air and than change the weight on other/ extended leg on the side. resting didn't help so how should i heal it??

done some reserch about it. the physiotherapy for 'patellar tendonitis' goes like this:
step with both legs on a slope/ ramp and crutch both legs at the same time till 90º in the knee. than slowly raise yourself. when the tendon becomes strong enough, you can increase the angle of the ramp but max. 45º. it takes months to heal.
