Hi Everyone,

We find different forum but this forum is very useful for the people who are really looking to reduce their weight. I am also one of them and I am sure soon we all will get to a solution. Many people become fatty because if their heavy diet but there are people who doesn't eat much but still their weight is increasing day by day. The reason we are not sure. Hence lets find and try to be fit, so the other slim people wont make fun of us.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

Some foods can appear to be low in calorie but are really quite high in calories... Nuts for instance are very high in calories so calories would be a lot higher if people forgot to add in the nuts... For instance - I believe that some supermarkets sell rotisserie chicken which has things added in which make them less healthy than plain roast chicken. Sauces can be higher in calories than people think. There is a huge difference between foods cooked in oil and those cooked in fry light.

If people feel that they do not eat much but are gaining weight - they are wise to look very carefully at the calories that they eat (weighing literally everything) and the amount of exercise that they do... If they still cannot lose weight when they have an appropriate calorie deficit - they should discuss the matter with their GP. The only alternative is that they have a medical issue which needs to be treated.

I suggest that you read the following thread - it may help you settle in and make friends here
