Jogging

would anyone know if there's a way to jog and not get bulky calf muscles? or is there any cardio exercise that gives you fast results without bulky muscles (preferably one you dont have to go to the gym for)

I know that stretching before and after jogging prevents the muscle from getting too large.. I was reading about competitive swimmers doing it to keep a slimmer body for swimming but gaining the muscle they need.

Jogging wont make calves bulky.

The stretching before and after to prevent "bulky" muscles is a complete myth and untrue. The premise that you will get "bulky" instantly is a myth in it self as well.

I run anywhere from 25-30 miles/week, and I haven't noticed bulky calk muscles at all. In fact, since I've been running, bulkiness in general is disappearing. I've lost an additional 15 pounds in about a month and a half, eating just about anything I want (yesterday I had cookie dough ice cream and KFC for dinnner!-Was down another pounds this morning.)

Regardless, running is only good for your body in terms of fat loss and lean legs.

People to not generally get bulky by accident. There are plenty of guys in the gym that want big calves, but they're a very difficult bodypart to increase in size. So unless you're doing a lot of leg & calf strengthening in the gym and working on your 50m sprint, I doubt you have anything to worry about. Just get out there and start running (just make sure you have proper shoes).
