Hi I'm new here and have been lurking around for almost 2 months now and decided, hey why not give it a go and join the bandwagon! :driving:

I have always been fat, lost weight 3 years ago, down to 62 kgs(136 lbs) then gained it all back in 3 years and I'm back to where I was which is 85 kgs (187 lbs). My goal weight is to be back to 62kgs, hopefully less, but I will change that once I reach 62 kgs again!

I am 21 years old and I am studying finance at university. Hopefully I can lose the weight I need to lose before I turn 22 in October 2008!

Here are my stats for DAY 1:

Weight: 85 kgs (187 lbs)
Height (lol this will not change): 5'4"

Good evening ladies and gentlemen! I have decided today, that I am going to join the fitness challenge! Here's a link if you're interested Weight Loss Challenge. I also took photos of myself today, and man I just realised how huge I have become! But hey, I am doing something about it and that's all that matters! :) :bigear: I have a really good attitude towards losing weight and I know this time it's going to work out! :)

Oh and I have been such a good girl all day as well!

TODAY:
Exercise - 1 hour of walking
Breakfast - 1 cup of cornflakes, 1 cup of trim milk
Lunch - 1/2 cup fish fillet and 1 slc of whole grain toast
Dinner - Mesclun salad with fish fillet



Tomorrow's going to be another day of fun and weight loss!:party:
Wake up early at 6 am, have breakfast and a shower
Lunch at work I will have my chicken sandwich
Morning tea and afternoon tea will be pears and kiwifruit
Dinner will be my tuna salad!

I'm going to go for a walk for an hour tomorrow with my dog after work.. and feeeeel gooooooooooooooooooooooooood!:party:

haha so much for my enthusiasm!
 
Argh! I cannot believe I failed myself today!

I had cereal for breakfast, lunch was my salad, dinner was a tuna sandwich but then I starved and when I went to my friends house I had a piece of chicken and 10 pcs of fries!!

TELL ME I AM NOT THAT BAD AINT I?

I also went for a 4 km walk!
 
Why would you consider 10 fries bad?

How many calories a day are you shooting for? they seem awfully low...

If you're starved -then there's a problem... starvation is not good for long term success.

Breakfast - 1 cup Cornflakes, 1 cup low fat milk
Snack - kiwi fruit
Lunch - Tuna Salad
Snack - kiwi fruit
Dinner - one slc of toast with tuna, 1 pc of chicken, 10 pcs of fries

EXERCISE: 4 km walk

I am shooting for 1200 is that okay? :)

Spend some time reading the stickied threads especially in the nutrition forum - 1200 for your current weight is quite low and will be tough to sustain long term.

as is said around here quite frequently - the only real permanent fix to a weight problem is a lifestyle change - that means an eating plan you can stick with for the rest of your life... 1200 calories would be tough to do...
 
FEBRUARY 5, 2008 - DAY 3

DAY 1 START: 187 lbs
DAY 3: 180 lbs (yay!):driving:

7 lbs in 3 days?!?! I am so happy!
 
Day 3: will be edited as the day goes

Exercise: 1:45 minutes walk.. damn I'm tired but it feels great!

Breakfast: 1 cup cornflakes and 1 cup low fat milk and a pear
