Hi Everyone

I just joined this forum yesterday and upon looking at others successes I have decided to get serious about losing weight.

My first diary entry:

How much weight do you want to lose?
I have just weighed for the first time in a while and I am now at 251lbs. To reach my ideal weight I will need to lose around 100lbs.

Timeframe?
23 weeks - By Xmas 2009

How?
3 decent meals a day with none of the boredom eating. Drinking lot's of water and knocking some stress out onto my punchbag!

Who or What can support me?
Reminding myself of my target weight for Xmas so I can show the family the new me.

How realistic is my goal?
I feel this is realistic, it is an average of 4.5lbs per week. Once I get exercising again it should fall off!

When do I start?
Monday 13th July 2009

I think your goal of 4.5 lb a week is a little high. The weight will come of quick to begin with but will slow a lot as you progress.
 
Hey all

I am finding it really hard at the moment to keep to my eating plan. I think I may have over exercised on Monday as I am still sore today.

I keep going to the cupboards to grab a biscuit and I pigged out on some fast food last night.

I can't seem to keep on track.

Any help will be appreciated.
 
Ok so weigh in today has shown an increase of 2lbs. Gutted!

I am staying positive however because I believe the 2lbs to be attributed to a weekend of overindulgence and feel that I was doing well last week up until this point.

I'm feeling rather bloated after a big Sunday Roast so perhaps a Sunday evening isn't the best time to weigh. However I suppose it's best to know when I'm heaviest.

I'm going to get back on track tomorrow and really go for it!
