Jessical Biel: Setting a "new" body standard?

It recently came to my attention that Jessica (sorry about the typo) Biel is being praised in various trashy magazines as having a great body. I agree, but I'm a bit taken aback because they used to praise really lean, tall, petite women (or so it seemed). Jessica looks fit, even somewhat buff--really healthy. I was pretty pleased, but I guess slim, fit, strong and healthy has always been attractive if not "in style."

All in all, if people are so easily brainwashed by beauty standards in the media, I'm not at all upset that J.Biel is getting to be one of them.

I saw your pictures! You're EASILY comparable to her. One day I will have a body as fit as that. Oh I will. That is if I ever start lifting weights.
 
I'm definitely pro-Jessica Biel.
Hard not to be.

I don't know if she's redefining anything, but she is a cutie.

She has a great body-I had a body somewhat like that about 5 years ago-before i got married and had 2 kids:rotflmao:
I like to see athlethic looking women being praised instead of the hanger figures.

Isn't it amazing what marriage and kids can do to a body!!:) I think she looks great myself and as much as I wish I could look like her I am just a bit vertically challenged to get there!!:rolleyes:
 
She looks good. She's a great role model as she obviously eats enough, and keeps fit. Better than all these size 00 skeletons - not something I'd like young girls and teenage girls to aspire to.
 
From a guy's perspective... personally I'm not really digging those posted pics but most any papparazzi (sp?) photographs are unflattering. Those actually make her look like the skinny model types. Some of the movies she has been in though, she was beautiful. The only papparazzi pics I've seen that actually look good are some from Jessica Alba... and actually I saw some of Fergie here recently that was pretty sweet. Fergie is badass.

I think Jessica Biel has a great body. I think she does work for it though, but, I bet a lot of it is her lucky genes. Good for her, I don't mind seeing her on the cover of a magazine, I just don't want to see Kate Bosworth and her 3D collarbones of fury or Nicole Richie in her bikini bottom that looks like a loaded diaper because she is so underweight.... jmo

Kate Bosworth used to look really good back when she did that movie about the surfing. I thought then she was a beautiful woman but I agree that now she just looks sick. That is not pretty at all.
