I'm 18 years old and I weigh 235lbs. I've struggled with my weight for the past two years now.
I started out at 190lbs planning to lose 30lbs or so. I tried Medifast, where all I had to do was eat their food & the weight will magically shed off. Unfortunately that wasn't what happened for me.
I got really hungry on the "diet" & this later caused me to over eat everything. So this caused me to gain so much more weight. & now, I want to lose weight the old fashioned way.
I'm trying to learn as much as I can about eating right. The nutrition guides posted here has helped me a lot. I'm starting to read food labels & I understand more about what I'm putting into my body.
I currently record my food intake on this app on my iPod & it's helped me a lot. It lists all the nutrition information & tells me exactly how many calories I have consumed everyday.
I started again on this home workout called Turbo Jam & I have feel great. It's been 2 days now & I will weigh myself again next week. Hopefully I can see the pounds shed off this time.
