Hi
I have made a start on Tuesday 11th March 2008, I went to the Cohen's clinic on the Gold Coast and joined to change my life for good.
I am a 41 year old mum and have two beautiful girls 4 and 19 months, and
we live on the Gold Coast. I need to be here for my girls and that is the best
reason to change my life, I want to be healthy and look great, feel energetic
and be able to play with my children and feel happy.
I have gained weight over the last ten years due to an under-active Thyroid
a back injury and to be real, a party life style of bad choices. It is now time
to change all of that to be the best that I can be, because I can. I started to lose weight in Oct 07 and started at 106.2kg and have lost 9.9kg, Yeah
My start weight at the clinic was 96.3kg I am 160cm (5'3) and 49.9% body fat, ouch that hurts but that is the facts, that is who I will leave behind, to
become 60kg, 160cm and have a healthy body fat index.
So here I go on my journey just waiting for my eating plan to arrive, I have
cleared the cupboards (except for kindy foods) and the fridge, I have shopped
for some greens and apples and weighed some meat up to 100g, have no idea what the weight for these are but I will just eat them like this until I get he plan on Monday. Was this a good thing to do or not?
I started Breakfast this morning with 1 poached egg, 2 small slices of tomato
and three thin spears of asparagus (tinned it was opened) and my cuppa tea
milk and 1 sugar, which I cut down and will be off before start day next Wednesday the 19th of March 2008.
So I think I'm ready to go, thanks for all the great advice from all of you and
I will let you know how I go.
