Well here it goes. My journal.

What is your current height and weight?
5'9 and 198 lbs as I started out.

If you were at an ideal weight now, what would that weight be?
Around 170-175 lbs is where I wish I was.

At what weight would you like to be at four months from now?
Hopefully my goal weight or very close.

Why do you want to lose weight?
My health is first. I refuse to be overweight any longer. It's been 3 years of being like this and it's gotta stop.

Do you want to lose weight for a specific life event such as wedding or reunion? If so, when is that event?
My husband is currently deployed and his leave is in about 5 months, I want to see the reaction on his face haha. And hey I'll admit it, I've got some trench coat/nothing underneath ideas to pick him up when he gets here :D.

What lifestyle changes do you think would help you lose weight?
Eating healthy, exercising and counting my calories.

Have you lost weight in the past? If so, what has worked in the past to help you lose weight?
Pretty much the same way I'm doing it now. I started to eat healthy balanced meals and exercised.

Why do you believe that you did not lose weight or you gained the weight back?
I gained it back because I couldn't handle stress very well. When my hubs first got deployed 3 years ago I coped with the stress by eating my feelings pretty much.

Do you cook at home often? If so, what do you cook?
Everyday now. I cook whatever healthy recipe I can get my hands on and that's within my calorie intake.

What are your three favorite foods?
I have to pick just 3??? Not fair. Pasta, Seafood and Tacos.

If you woke up tomorrow and your body was exactly the way you want it, what would be different?
Hmm flat stomach, smaller thighs and smaller arms. I'd keep the booty :D since the boobs weren't there to begin with, gotta have something lol.

Do you eat when you are not hungry?
I used to, mostly out of boredom. Now I don't anymore.

Do you eat when you are sad, nervous, or depressed?
Yes I did that in the past, not anymore.

What do you normally eat for a meal?
Steamed or grilled veggies, chicken/turkey/fish/seafood, a little bit of pasta, lots of fruits, 2 fiber bars a day or just 1 (depends on my energy level) and once a week I allow myself 4 slices of baked potato. Any of those in any kind of combination. Nothing fried.

What type of snacks do you eat?
I don't really snack because I rarely get hungry between meals but if it happens I'll make a fruit smoothie and that's good enough.

In terms of exercise, what, if anything, are you currently doing?
Cardio 6 times a week for 30 min now, and power yoga/pilates blend once a week.

Where do you go for exercise? A local public gym? School/work gym? Home?
The Army Gym on post. Keeps me motivated.

What, if anything, are your three favorite types of exercise?
Swimming and I'm pretty sure that's it haha, I don't think mini golf counts.

Do you have rewards for certain goals?
Yup, new pairs of jeans in smaller sizes ;) :D. I will fit my butt in AppleBottoms dammit!

That's the beginning.
Almost made myself pass out at the gym today. High motivation sometimes isn't that good. But tomorrow is another day :D.
I'm somewhat frustrated because I'm in between sizes and all my pants just look baggy, the hubs saw me on webcam today and said I look homeless. Yeah, right, like the trucker tan the desert's giving him is looking any better :D.
