I joined this site a little less than a year ago when I started to lose weight.
My life was messed up in every which way, but things have changed since then.
I've had the time of my life losing these 66 pounds. Has it been rough? It hasn't been easy. Was it worth it? Oh my God, yeah.
I'm so excited to finally be able to post this thread. I've actually looked forward to sharing my progress with others more than anything else.
Yes, getting to wear cute clothes and actually feel good in them is a huge plus, but being able to tell others what you did is awesome.
I feel really great, and that's something I haven't really ever been able to say.
So, okay, let me go ahead and share what I've been doing.
First off, I'm 5'5 1/2.
I lost my first 30 pounds with a doctor. The diet was horrific, and most of my loss was muscle, but at the time, I didn't know any better.
The remaining 36 pounds, I lost on my own. I counted my calories, eating around 1,200-1,300 a day, and exercising a lot.
Most of my exercise was on a stationary bike. I swear to you, those things will work you out.
I lost all of the weight together in a little less than a year.
Anyway, here are my pictures.
Here I am at 211-200 pounds:
That is in my opinion the WORST picture of me ever. I'm so glad that I hadn't gotten rid of it.
That picture was forced. I was at my boyfriend's house, and we had just started dating. That girl is his super skinny, super cute ex girlfriend. They remained friends, and I loved her when I met her, I just hated that she was 120 pounds. P:
Here I am at 175-180 pounds:
Those pictures were taken at Busch Gardens. I was with my boyfriend, his brother, and his size 2 sister in law. Why do all of the women in my life have to be twigs!?
Oh my God. My butt... it was so huge. D:
Here I am at 155-160 pounds:
That was when I found that I fit into a size 10 dress.
This is me now at 145 pounds:
Excuse the boobs.
This shirt was a reward for having lost all of my weight. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth it. Cute clothes make great rewards.
It's a size 10, by the way.
I just got that shirt as well. I love this one because it's one of the first form fitting shirts I've had in a while.
It's fitted, but I don't feel fat in it.
This is the last adorable shirt that I got. I'm so happy to finally wear a medium. ^_____________^~
Anyway, that's it, really. Thanks, you guys. Everyone in this forum has helped me. You guys are so awesome, and so inspiring.
