jaw injury

i put it in sports because i partially got it from skateboarding i think:p

heres the thing:
My jaw has been pretty ****ed up on some ocationes, i think its been dislocated 2 times, but im not sure. i can remember i couldnt close it and i was drooling all over the place, but eventually it just got back together by itself. now i got a problem though, my jaw seems to click every time i chew food, it seems to kind of lock itself sometimes so i cant completley open it, its like a boundary inn there that it has to pass, and to get past it sometimes goes smooth, only a little click, but sometimes its stuck.

any idea what it could be? ive never been to a doctor with this, and i know you will say that i should. but has anyone experienced simular things? ive had this now a long time after i got my jaw dislocated (i think)
 
it occured to one of my distant cousins when i was a kid and i dont have very detailed accounts of it. what i do remember is thats his jaws just went loose and he couldnt close his jaws shut. he was operated by a doctor.

now his jaws are just about fine :)
