Jan 6th, 2008 => Waist 36", Weight 199 lbs
Mar 8th, 2008 => Waist 32", Weight 187 lbs

Thanks, guys. It's nice to get those compliments from the veterans of the board.

I didn't post pics of the bottom half, only because editing photos irritates me. Maybe I will soon. Not much change in the calves, but the quads are more defined (thank you squats). The hamstrings are much stronger and a bit larger, but it doesn't really show in the pics.
 
For 3 months, that's great progress. Just keep doing whatever it is you're doing..

For those who are interested, I am basically doing everything from the forum stickies (read them, they're brilliant).

  • 5-6 meals a day (as evenly spaced as possible)
  • 500 fewer calories than my maintenance level
  • trying really hard to get 1gm of protein per lb of body weight, but very difficult some days
  • Drinking LOTS of water
  • Full-body workout three times a week, using mostly the big lifts and a few other compounds to keep it interesting. (and of course some isolation work for the same reason)

That's my recipe.
