Hey there. :)
My name is Ivy (real name Jasmine, but I like Ivy better).

Uhmm I really want to lose weight, I've never been comfortable with my body, perhaps when I was a young kid and didn't really care, but now it's alot harder to deal with, and I feel like I've finally come to a hole where I am ready to build myself out of.
I'll post my stats now:

Height: 5'4/5
Weight: 75 KG's - 165lb's
Goal Weight: 56 KG's - 123.2 lb's

I have a long way to go, but I'm willing to build my journey... and encouragement will surely help. :eek:

Breakfast
1 Small bowl of porridge with 2 table spoons of flavoured yogurt.
Lunch
Tortilla filled with lettuce, tomato and 1 small vegetarian falafal.
Dinner
(will update once I've had it)

I'm also horrible with calories, I've searched alot of websites but they're completely diffrent to the New Zealand food system, so if anyone knows of anything, feel free to pass along ^_^.
 
U can always get Wishes to help u... She's frm NZ too! Can't remember who else there.

So I just weighed myself before and it seems I have lost 3 lbs since last time, well that's also because I did this one in the almost nudey. :p

so yay! I must be doing something right.
 
Congrats! 3lbs would make me FREAKISHLY happy right now :)
So are you working out or anything like that? Post that stuff to, people will give tips on their fav workouts, or what you could do to maximize calorie burn, etc.

Sorry I havn't been around these last couple of days, they've been pretty crap, I had to get my poor kitty put down. :(
It was for the best, if I had to spend $1000 dollars on getting him better, I would in a heart-beat, but the vets told me it would have been cruel to keep him alive, and it would be for our benifit anyway. So yes, R.I.P Diesel *sends him flowers*

I have been really crap with excersizing and food, I really have had no energy, and this has happened before when he got our dog put down last year, I went into the dumps and was depressed and careless, but this time I don't want to do that as it makes me feel even more bad, and I really hated those feelings, so I'm not going anywhere, and doing everything I can to help myself.

I havn't bothered to weigh myself lately, I probably will tomorrow, and I have started changing my eating routines again today.

Breakfast
Salad Sanwich -(SP?)
-1 Tomato
-2 Small leafs of Lettuce
-2 Gerkins
-1 Avacado
- A tiny squirt of dressing
-4 Slices of multi grain bread

(NOTE: that was for two sanwiches)
Liquid
1 Coffee
-1 Teaspoon of honey
- Little bit of milk

1 Cup of milk
(The full cream one, personally I think it's the most healthiest, and nicest, I tend to star away from the slim milk stuff)


and that's all I've had today, I'll update later when I've had dinner.
 
Sorry to hear about your cat. We went through that about 4 years ago with our dog, and I had to do it again a year later with another dog. I swear, when my current one passes away from old age, I'm not getting another one. It'll just be me, the hubby, his dog, and the turtles.
 
It really sucks doesn't it, so sorry to hear about your dogs, it's always hard nomatter what their age. :confused:

Turtles are good pets, don't they live till they're like... 90/100 years old?
 
Terrestrial ones do! All of mine are aquatic (at the moment, I did have one that wasn't) and they get to be around 40 or more, depending on care and diet. I'm hoping to have to pass them down to either one of my step-sons or my niece or nephew. We'll see.

Very brave, girl! And you already look pretty good! How tall are you? We seem to have about the same body type, except I think I might be taller than you. I'm 5'7"

So, my biggest inspiration is deffinitly Kate Winslet, she's said in interviews she doesn't believe in plastic surgery and all that doo-daa, and she has a really lovely body, it's naturual, so yes! She will be my main inspiration now.



Such a lovely person.

Workout

1/2 Hour Walk
10 Minutes on Excersize Bike
30 Sit-Ups
20 Leg Excersizes (on each leg)
25 Side-Excersizes (on each side)


Breakfast

2 salad sandwiches

- 1 Tomato
- 2 Gerkins
- 2 Small Leaves of Lettuce
- 1/2 Avacado
- 4 Slices of Dark, Soft Wheat and Rye Bread

(That is all together, not that much on each sandwich)


Lunch

Yogurt

- 1 Cup of Yogurt
- 1 Small Handful of Saltanas


Snacks
-------
Apricots, Saltanas, Other Fruits...


Dinner

Hehe, saltanas are like raisens... except their different, and I'm not entirely sure what dried fruit they are hehe
