I've got a long ways to go...

Hi, I'm 17 and 250 pounds. I want to be 175 pounds.

I need to lose weight because my family's got an extensive history of diabetes, and because I'd like to fit into my old clothes.

Anyway, I dance for at least 2 hours every day (it's spaced out, 15 minutes here, 15 minutes there) 'cause I love doing it. It's also good exercise, too. :p

I only drink diet soda and water, but my eating habits are less than admirable. My house is sugar-and-chips free, but once I hit a Burger King or something like that, it all goes downhill from there.

Well, that pretty much sums it up. I'm looking for someone who's willing to lose weight with me, so to speak. Just someone outside of my skeptical family who's willing to exchange reports of our weekly progress with me until we both hit our goals.

It sounds like ya know what ya want, how are ya planning on changing your eating and exercising (inquiring mind want to know!!!:p ) I am alot older than you but, i will keep checkin in on your porgress and i really hope you can hit your goal, this is a great site for insperation and encouragement............good luck and keep posting......STAR
 
I'll talk with you about losing weight if you want, I've been looking for someone to share with =D

I'm around your age and live in the same state, so I guess we already have that in common! Hope to talk to you again soon!
