I've been registered here before and I lost 25 lbs with everyones support. Once I got to my target weight, I thought I'd stay there forever but I went off track. I then got pregnant, took advantage of that fact and over ate, and I had my son four months ago yesterday. I had him via emergency c-section, but I'm well enough now to lightly exercise and I'm unfortunately not breastfeeding, so I'm all systems go!

Here are my details:

Name: Becky
Weight: 185lbs (my heaviest. I was 165 when I joined last time and got to 140lbs)
Height: 5'5"
BMI: 30ish

My Usual Diet
Breakfast: Full tin baked beans on two white bread, fried egg on top
Lunch: Tuna mayo (I do use extra light though) sandwiches, four white bread
Dinner: Huge portions of pasta, big roast dinner, pizziola subway
Snacks: Crisps and chocolate

My reasons for losing weight
I had my son 1st November and I thought I had retained placenta so went for an ultrasound which I had a few days ago, they found nothing, but told me I have a thick womb lining. I'm more at risk of developing cancer of the uterus because of the thickness. The reason it's thick is because I have too much estrogen in my body, due to eating the wrong foods and eating foods that are covered in pesticides and added hormones.

Last night I went food shopping. I had a list with me, and I stuck to it. Lots of fruit and veg, with three different meals in mind (chilli con carne, fajitas and a 'sunday dinner' but without the roast potatoes). I bought everything organic, and even though it costs a lot more than pesticide-covered foods, it's so worth it. I felt healthier already!

So theres my main reason. My other reasons are my happiness, and my son Leon.

I was also here before and had a baby since :D CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Sorry to hear about your health setbacks, but it seems you are on a good track to pull through :) I plan to go organic soon as well. Have you ever tried "Fit" to was the fruits and vegetables? Well anyways I do not think it is needed for organic things. I think reducing meats is also a good way to lower hormone intake.

Good luck and all the best!!
