It's pretty exciting!

hey! i'm new. and i'm excited i found this space. let's see...i've been officially on a life-style-change for about 6 weeks.

i've tried a lot in the past. won't say "everything" but i've tried atkins, south beach, low-cal, low-fat, excercise.....on and on.

now i've started my own little thing...eating less "white stuff" (potatoes, white pasta, white rice), eating more green/yellow/red/purple stuff (veggies and fruit), moving more. i've also cut out all fast food, soda that's not diet. i've also added nuts to my diet (never eaten them before cause i thought they were too fattening).

and i'm so excited to say that i've lost 10 lbs in 6 weeks. i've started doing yoga and belly dancing. and i walk a friend's dog a few times a week too.

i can't say why...but this time feels completely different! i can't pinpoint what feels different. but it's not a struggle. i'm not starving ( i make sure i eat enough) and i'm not tired anymore. i'm not annoyed that i'm eating better. not even annoyed that i'm eating less. has anyone else had that experience?

suddenly something changed and it's just different this time?
 
a lot of people get like that -it's that you're finally ready -or your head is finally in the right place to make the changes.. so that it's not an effort...
