It works in theory

I was looking at this , and according to it if I jump rope for 5 mins I burn 64 calories.
I workout regularly and jumping rope is my warm up.
I was thinking though, if I was to jump rope every hour from 12:00 to 7:00 for 5 mins, in theory I would lose in total 512 calories by just jumping rope.
If I add that to my regular workout I loose like 1,000 + calories a day just from exercise, then about 2,000 from RMR. So - 3,000 + 1500 (calorie intake) = -1500 calories a day. 1500 X 6 days of doing this = 9000 calories burnt in one week. Which is about 3 pounds.

Why I think it would work
1. Jumping rope for 5 mins is easy, so you won't get exhausted.
2. Calories in less than calories out.

Would this work?

Any exercise is great, and it will add up durinmg the day yes.

I used to do that with pushups. I would do 20, then an hour later, another 20 ( or if I was playing counter-strike on the computer, I would do 10 push-ups each time I died in the game ).

It really helped with my workouts in a short time.

I think that's a good idea, and I might do the same.

Ha ha! If I did that with Diablo 2 I'd be ripped in no time.

I think I might do it, only change it, every other hour 10 push ups, and in between that jump rope or jumping jacks for 5 mins.

This idea seems too good to be true! Let me know how it goes for you- I might pick it up. Jumping rope makes me feel like a little kid again, haha.
