I was looking at this , and according to it if I jump rope for 5 mins I burn 64 calories.
I workout regularly and jumping rope is my warm up.
I was thinking though, if I was to jump rope every hour from 12:00 to 7:00 for 5 mins, in theory I would lose in total 512 calories by just jumping rope.
If I add that to my regular workout I loose like 1,000 + calories a day just from exercise, then about 2,000 from RMR. So - 3,000 + 1500 (calorie intake) = -1500 calories a day. 1500 X 6 days of doing this = 9000 calories burnt in one week. Which is about 3 pounds.
Why I think it would work
1. Jumping rope for 5 mins is easy, so you won't get exhausted.
2. Calories in less than calories out.
