Hi all, I'm Megan! I have two sons, Cooper who is 25 months old and Henry who is 6 months old. I gained 35 lbs with Henry and lost it all! Too bad I gained 65 lbs with Cooper and STILL haven't lost it all! I'm getting there and hope to lose about 40 lbs until I'm at my goal!

I feel your pain! I have a 4 month old and I have 10 lbs to lose to get to my pre preggo weight, but I want to lose a total of 40 lbs all togehter. It is so hard! Everyone told me "Oh since you are breastfeeding the weight will fall right off!" Wrong! It seems to be stuck to my body permanently!

i know exactly what both of you are going through. i lost almost all my pregnancy weight with my soon to be 4 year old and am now almost back up to 250 i got 16 lbs left to get back to what i weighed when i first started on this site. i have 22wks left of my pregnancy with baby number and am really nervous bout how hard its going to be to lose it with a toddler and a newborn at home and barely having the energy now to do things around the house. how am i going to exercise while having 2 kids to tend too yikes. hope things work out for all of us and we can reach our goals.

I was right there with you with DS#1, but lost my weight way to quickly with DS #2, which - believe me - wasn't good either! I just wanted to add a couple of things about losing weight & breastfeeding:

First of all, it takes a long time for your hormones to return to normal (if there is such a thing;), and if you're breastfeeding, yes you can lose weight without extra work, but that doesn't necessarily mean you will lose weight more quickly. It's still not healthy to lose more than 1-2 pounds per week, even if you're packing some extra pregnancy weight!

Now, for my experiences: Almost a year after my first baby was born, I still had a little more "fluff", and I breastfed for 6 months with him. Then, I got pregnant again, and that was the end of that. Then, when DS #2 was about 6 weeks, we found out he had multiple food allergies, and in order for me to continue breastfeeding (which I was determined to do), i had to cut what felt like everything out of my diet! (the big ones being ALL dairy, soy, & eggs - spend a day reading labels to make sure that's in nothing you eat). I now weigh the least I've ever weighed in my adult life, but I don't feel "healthy". So, I guess I'm trying to say you can lose weight too quickly, and you may not be happy with yourself then either. :)
