Lets go back to April 2010. I was nearly 300 pounds and wanted to lose weight fast(like many americans). I had a very limited budget and could not afford to buy any kind of miracle pill, diet, exercise machine, ect. So after some research I looked into how many calories a person should need to consume at certain intervals in my weight loss and set them as goals. I used 3 different websites and averaged them out to do this. So it was simple. So my plan is a no B.S simple plan. Set out the calories you should intake daily, and then stay under that goal by as much as possible. Sometimes I was 1000 under sometimes 100 under. I did some exercise and really just changed that. To keep track I simply used that calculator on my computer and notepad. No programs, software, or unneeded BS.
So I changed one thing, and now in 2011(almost one year) I am 220 pounds and since I have a very large frame and am tall that isn't too far from where I planned to be.
So I guess I just wanted to say it really is that simple. You need calories to live, your body burns said calories. There is absolutely no need to watch carbs sugar or any of that B.S.(Unless you want to do more work) You know what is bad for you. You also know what is good for your body. Calories are the key to weight loss. I still consumed "junk food" however, in a reduced quantity(still pretty much daily about 300-500 calories). Only problem is that they do not fill you up and since I limited myself to 3 meals it could make it rather difficult to reach the goal that is set.
I simply joined just to say. I lost 80 pounds. No magic diet. No watching carbs, sugar, ect. I just watched calories.
The intentions I have for posting this was a simple desire to inform about how I did it, to express how simple it can be(Keep It Simple Stupid), and to express how easy it really can be. Also I have a VERY VERY VERY deeply seeded dislike of companies that market these pills, fad diets, and other garbage.
