Is this good?

I'm 14 and weigh 149 pounds and recently I've become interested in getting a flat stomach. So, about 2-3 days ago I started doing 200 crunchs a day and 50 push ups daily. I've also reduced my diet to peanut butter toast, yogurt and a lot of water. Do I also have to take breaks in-between days or can I do this daily? Any suggestions are helpful

That is very unbalanced in terms of diet and training. Look at the thread in young athlete development by Goldfish, that will be a good start.

yea, you aren't going to get very far with that. First, you can't spot target your abs. If you have a flabby stomach, 1000 crunches / day won't really do much to burn that fat away. You need to do some cardio. Second, to build muscle, you need a healthy diet. What you described is not considered healthy. I agree with Crazy ... check out Goldfish's post.

get healthy

You would get a stronger overall core by doing exercises such as v-ups, planks, v-up with scissor kicks, russian twist with kettlebell, woodchop with dumbbell,ab wheel rows and hanging knee raises. You should also eat healthy meals with plenty of protein and the required amounts of carbs and fats. I am an old (73) health nut that has worked out my whole life. I am 5'7'" tall and weigh 210 lbs with a very muscular body and I didn't get that way on peanut butter and water.
