Is this good to do?

Hi guys,
I'm new here :D and I have a few questions.
When I cook for my girlfriend and myself, I broil chicken in the oven. I put a little of corn oil on the chicken. Is this a good way to cut down oil comsuption?

Also, besides fruits, what is good to snack on?

My gf wants to loose a few pounds, will staying away from carb food really work?
 
Nuts are good to snack on, especially almonds (high in protein).

Although when I only ate almonds I got really bored and didn't like them for a while!!! So I'd advise getting mixed nuts.

Miso soup is also said to be really good, full of nutritious bits n' pieces and it keeps you going.

I have a museli bar for my morning tea. And nuts in the afternoon. Hope that helps some. :)

Us koreans love to drink them and yes they are pretty good. Its got tofu and onions (can vary) but anyways the point is.

I think malkore is right about just using PAM however you can always use Olive oil because PAM isnt always reliable... Sometimes you gotta spray more than you wish
