I'm really fond of set workouts that I can follow (e.g. Turbojam, Tae Bo etc) and I have a workout plan that I hopefully can follow
it consists of this

mondays, wednesdays and fridays
-tae bo (20-30 minutes)
-pilates for arms (10 minutes)

tuesdays and thursdays -
pilates for arms, legs and abs (30 minutes in total, 10 minutes each)

weekends
If I have the chance, I go swimming for about 2-4 hours :)

I'm mainly hoping to lose weight around my arm area, as I tend to gain weight in this specific region.

my plan looks a little empty, and I really want to add more to it. Any tips? Anything else I can follow (anything I can find on the internet, as I cannot buy DVD's nor go to the gym)
I want to lose a lot of weight fairly fast, like most people. If I follow this plan, how much weight do you think I would lose in a month?

Hi Chita, how much weight you can lose depends on how big you are and how much you eat. Its impossible for anyone of us to guess.

Your plan looks good except that 2-4 hours swimming is excessive. Perhaps its why you have big arms.

I would point out that working on a particular body part does not mean you will lose more fat in that part. It only means you will make it stronger. It will get bigger because it will grow more muscle. We lose fat over all according to our genetic make up. Swimming and other arm exercises will only increase the size of your arms but its a good exercise anyway.

If you want your arms to wither away, don't work on them. Do mostly running and cycling and leg based exercises. Although i must admit that when i did triathlon and lost quite a bit of weight, although i was swimming my arms did not get big, just shapely. So i think keep swimming but give up the arm pilates. But i probably wouldn't have done more than one hour of swimming at a time.

But do what you enjoy doing.
